Fred Chapellier – Bet On The Blues
Fred Chapellier is not a newcomer in the world of blues, with two previous albums to his credit and numerous appearances alongside major stars at various festivals. He has worked extensively with drummer Tony Coleman (formerly of the B.B. King band), Neal Black, Nina Van Horn and Lorenzo Sanchez. His ‘Tribute to Roy Buchanan’ is destined to become one of the best electric blues sets of the year, one that will get accolades from Roy Buchanan buffs of all continents.
Fred has now joined the ranks of the top French blues rock guitarists. Semi-finalist at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis (the largest gathering of blues musicians in the world) and having toured with some of the best French vocalists, all this managed to propel him front stage. With this “Electric Communion” totally warm and dynamic, the logical continuation of his recent “Electric Fingers”, Fred confirms that he is more than able to succeed when recording in a studio as well as performing on stage.
